Exhibit: A World of Water- Photographs by Laurel Casjuns
The Gallery at Library Square:

Water is so basic to our lives, but Laurel Casjuns sheds new light on the subject in this photography exhibit. The photographs in "A World of Water" are taken with a digital infrared camera that captures a light spectrum larger than the human eye can see. While shapes are familiar, the color rendering of the scene has changed, literally showing our world in a new light. Casjuns hopes the new vision will remind us of the importance of water in our lives. "I hope they will inspire us to protect our water sources, our wild rivers, our lakes, streams, and oceans. Desert of seaside, we need to use our water wisely."
